Clinical Department of Head, Neck and Laryngological Oncology, Poznan University of Medical Sciences, operating alongside the Department of Head, Neck and Laryngological Oncology with an Admission Unit, Greater Poland Cancer Centre

The Clinic, together with the Department of Head, Neck and Laryngological Oncology, focuses on the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of head and neck neoplasms, and to a lesser extent, the diagnosis and treatment of non-cancerous ENT disorders. To personalise treatment, decisions regarding treatment plans for patients diagnosed with head and neck cancer are made by an interdisciplinary team composed of physicians from various specialities.
The Department provides treatment for precancerous conditions and cancers of the oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, nose, paranasal sinuses, skin of the head and neck region, brain tumours, as well as primary and metastatic lesions within the neck. Surgery is often combined with reconstructive procedures to preserve a high quality of life. After surgery, patients undergo a comprehensive rehabilitation programme.
Our experienced team, supported by state-of-the-art medical equipment, ensures the highest quality of comprehensive care for patients with head and neck cancer.
Patient qualification for treatment at the Clinic is conducted at the ENT Outpatient Clinic. Admission requires a referral from a doctor practising under contract with the National Health Fund. Treatment in the Department may also be provided on the basis of a referral to hospital.
