Population-based breast cancer early detection programme is directed to women aged 50-69 who have not had mammography within recent two years and have never been treated for breast cancer.
The programme consists of two stages: basic and extended.
The basic stage involves mammography of both breasts. The extended stage involves additional tests for patients in whom additional diagnosis was prescribed at the basic stage. Depending on prescription, it includes breast ultrasonography, targeted mammography or fine needle biopsy.
To take the screening under the Population-based Breast Cancer Early Detection Programme, please register for a date of your choice.
Registration office opening hours are: Mondays and Tuesdays, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
