Dear All,
The first post-pandemic Young Scientists' Forum 2.0 conference took place on December 6th, 2024. The new edition of this competition for up and coming scientists is a continuation of the conference series that has been taking place in the Greater Poland Cancer Centre since 2005, initiated by its Director, Professor Julian Malicki, Honorary Chairman of YSF 2.0.
To continue the tradition of multidisciplinary scientific meetings, we invited young scientists working in cancer research: from biology and genetics to pharmacology, physics and clinics. It was a great joy to observe the increasing number of applications. The presentations, posters and discussions were all on a high scientific level.
The conference was honoured by Professor Bożena Kamińska-Kaczmarek’s lecture, who presented her research on immunology of malignant gliomas in an accessible, yet truly fascinating way.
We would like to congratulate all participants and express our gratitude - thanks to you Young Scientists’ Forum 2.0 was the way we intended it to be: young, curious and full of new ideas.
YSF 2.0 would not have happened if not for the people who put valuable effort into organizing it. We would like to thank the Scientific and Organizational Committees, as well as the Jury, whose dedication ensured everything was in its right place at the right time. We would also like to thank the Sponsors and Patrons of the conference for their engagement in supporting young science.
And, nearing the end, we invite you to Poznań for the next year’s edition of YSF 2.0.
All the necessary information can be found on our website.

With immense gratitude,
Chairwoman of the Scientific Committee
