Oral Presentation: YSF 2.0
The presentation should fit within 10 minutes, and we allocate 5 minutes for discussion and questions from the jury. It is important to adhere to the time limit. Additional time for presentation will shorten discussion time, and can impact evaluation.
Slides should be prepared in 16 x 9 .pptx format. Please use common fonts.
Anonymization of any patients’ images is mandatory. Consent for publication of patient’s image is mandatory.
Credentials and/or indication of the source of any pictures, drawings, tables, and other materials that were not created by the presenter is mandatory. Please do not include advertisements in your presentation.
Presentation Guidelines:
- Introduction
- Briefly introduce the topic and its significance.
- State the research question or hypothesis.
- Provide context or background information relevant to your study.
- Materials and Methods
- Describe the materials used in your research.
- Explain the methodologies and experimental design clearly and concisely.
- Mention any particular techniques or analyses applied.
- Results
- Present key findings using visuals (charts, graphs, tables).
- Highlight the most significant results that address your research question.
- Avoid overwhelming details; focus on clarity and impact.
- Conclusion
- Summarize the main points of your presentation.
- Discuss the implications of your findings.
- Suggest future research directions if relevant.
Abstract Structure:
- Introduction: Brief overview of the research topic and objectives.
- Materials and Methods: Summary of the methodology used for the research.
- Results: Key findings of the study in a concise format.
- Conclusion: Implications and significance of the results.
