Cancer Diagnosis and Immunology<\/h2>\n

Cancer Diagnosis and Immunology Unit coordinates the work of its diagnostic laboratories. The Unit consists of:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Cancer Immunology Laboratory whose tasks include:
    \nperformance of proliferation tests and determination of cytokine expression,
    \n\u2013 culturing of cancer cells for research purposes,
    \n\u2013 implementation of the rules of Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Laboratory Practice.<\/li>\n
  2. Gene Therapy Laboratory The laboratory develops new methods for cancer gene therapy. It performs in vitro tests to assess the efficacy of new therapeutic strategies, in vivo tests (animal models) of protective and therapeutic effects of cancer vaccines (melanoma, clear cell renal cancer, glioma) and immunological tests to assess response to treatment in patients receiving genetically modified vaccines.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
