They provide aid to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patients (being hospitalised, waiting for admission to hospital or after hospitalisation at the Greater Poland Cancer Centre;<\/li>\n<li>Patients\u2019 families,<\/li>\n<li>Medical personnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Main types of support offered to patients and their families:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Critical time intervention, psycho-education, cognitive and behavioural therapy, supportive therapy, neuropsychological diagnosis and rehabilitation, speech language pathology diagnosis and therapy, support in bereavement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Psychology Clinic provides consultation in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Disability assessment for pension (ZUS and KRUS social insurance funds) and non-pension purposes (Municipal and District Disability Assessment Committees),<\/li>\n<li>National Health Fund (NFZ) \u2013 regarding orthopaedic and support equipment,<\/li>\n<li>Labour law and social support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<h2 class=\" \" data-delay='0'>Headed by<\/h2>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<strong>Monika Sm\u00f3lska<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text]<h2 class=\" \" data-delay='0'>Contact<\/h2>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Psychology Unit is in room 3070, 3rd floor, tel. + 48 (61) 8850-882,<br \/>\nMonday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. \u2013 3:00 p.m.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]That unit is staffed by psychologists and social workers.
