Forum 2.0

Dear Colleagues, we would like to cordially invite you to participate in the next edition of the Young Scientists' Forum 2.0, which will be held on the 5th of December, 2025 in Poznań.

YSF 2.0 is a conference aimed at young scientists and students below 35 years of age, specialising in oncology-related sciences (including basic sciences such as biology, medical physics, genetics, biotechnology, pharmacy), as well as young clinicians, pathomorphologists, medical physicists and radiographers interested in therapy and diagnostics.

The forum is an ideal place not only to present one's work but also to exchange professional experiences and form brand new international cooperation networks. The conference will be conducted in English in a hybrid form: online and onsite on the premises of the Greater Poland Cancer Centre.

The Forum is under the honorary scientific patronage of Professor Julian Malicki – the Director of the Greater Poland Cancer Centre.

The guiding theme of this year's edition is "Responsibility in Science" – an idea that is always worth recalling, to ensure that we do not lose sight of the goal of our scientific activity: progress for the benefit of present and future patients. In the spirit of this idea, we will remember Professor Joseph Rotblat, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, physicist and radiobiologist; a scientist who gave us an example on how to be responsible and ethical in scientific research.

The Forum is a competition. Submitted abstracts will be assessed by a Jury, with expert representation from basic and clinical sciences.

The works accepted for oral presentation will be presented in the form of a speech and discussion with the Jury. All parts of the presentation are equally evaluated – the concept, the results of the presented study, as well as the ability to hold a scientific argument.

We kindly encourage you to submit your work – abstracts are to be sent in English by the 21st of November, 2025.

Registration will be available between the 1st of September and 21st of November, 2025.

Awards will be provided for the authors of the three best submissions and presentations to support their careers and scientific development, including travel to congresses and courses.
